My favorite hoodie!
"I think this model has the best feel overall - at least, for my shape. I like that it has a light elasticity to the hem, and the sleeves. Finger hole placement is great, hood is great, and good neck coverage when hood is down. The fabric has a great hand, and is comfortable for all day wear. Great work, Simms!"

The Best
"The Stone Cold Hoody is lightweight, quick drying, and has the perfect hood to also cover the bottom portion of face from sun. Most importantly it is comfortable for long days on the water especially in the heat as the fabric counters the sun to avoid excess temperature."

Finally a hood that actually WORKS!
"Finally the stone cold hoodie comes along. Keeps you cool and the sun off your skin, and has a very functional hood that stays on in the wind and gives lots of coverage for the days the buff is too much. I’m a full time guide and gear like this is a life saver."

Stone cold hoody
"I am a land surveyor in Colorado. Summers are getting hotter and hotter every year and I have been desperately searching for gear to make life at work doable. Very impressed with the cooling technology in this shirt. Blazing hot out and with the slightest breeze it feels cool. Going to need another because I find myself wanting to wear this every day!"

Weird hood
"I see other reviews that praise the full coverage of the hood. I would much rather have the button option to hold the hood in place, like on the solar flex hoody, rather than a very tight elastic border around the hood. It's too constrictive, doesn't move well when I turn my head, and feels like it makes me hotter. It's probably all in my head, but it's not the shirt I reach for when the temperature is soaring."

Great Shirt
"This is probably the best hot weather shirt I have ever owned, really dig the hood design, nice for keeping bugs away from your ears. Material is soft and cozy, you may find you want to order a size larger than normal, I wear a Large in most Simms shirts, prefer an XL in these. Would love to see more colors made available in this shirt in the future."

Little bit extra sun protection
"As someone who is spending many days per year on the water from dark to dark, sun protection is important. The Stone Cold Hoody has a little extra protection around the face yet it's great fitting and comfortable. I use the thumb slots a lot as well for some sun protection for the top of my hands. If you're spending significant time in the sun, you want to wear this hoody."

Stone Cold Hoody is one of my favorites
"The Stone Cold Hoody is one of my favorites. I really like the hood design and it does a great job of keeping you cool while keeping the sun off you. Definitely one of my go-to shirts for long days on the water."

My Go To Sun Shirt
"Whether I am guiding for Northwest Fly Fishing Outfitters, scouting new water, or just having a fun day fly fishing, you will almost always find me in my Simms Stone Cold Hoody. We spend a lot of time in the high desert where temperatures climb into the 100's, but this shirt keeps me comfortable. The design allows for free airflow, keeping me cool, but I also use it to protect my body from the elements. As a guide and a fly angler, I cannot recommend this product more."

sun hoody
"in the warmer periods I always wear a sun shirt with a hood and have been wearing the solarflex for years. The different material in the stone cold just feels and looks good. The way that the neck and hood both cover you and stay up is not annoying and very comfortable compared to many other types of sun hoody shirts my friends wear"
