"As someone who is spending many days per year on the water from dark to dark, sun protection is important. The Stone Cold Hoody has a little extra protection around the face yet it's great fitting and comfortable. I use the thumb slots a lot as well for some sun protection for the top of my hands. If you're spending significant time in the sun, you want to wear this hoody."

"This is a solid hoodie and is very breathable. For reference, I'm 6'4" and 195 lbs with a slimmer build. I originally ordered a Large, but it fit much smaller than expected and I had to exchange it for an XL. I own other Simms sun hoodies in a Large and they fit fine, so the sizing on this model seems to run smaller. The hood opening is also fairly tight. When wearing a hat with the hood up, the front of the hood rests against my chin. I don't have an unusually large head—I'd consider it average-sized—so this may be something others notice as well. Overall, it's a great hoodie, but I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars because of the sizing inconsistency and the smaller hood opening."
