"These waders and boots were used in and out of the water, including some fairly extreme mountain hiking. Crawling on the ground and riverbank shingle while stalking bears. The zipper is great for not only relieving yourself, but for cooling off a bit on the long hikes! They performed flawlessly an seemed rugged and well-built despite them being lightweight and maneuverable"
"I tried them without the carbide star cleats first to test the non slip rubber sole . They did slide around the rocks and gravel a bit . I put the cleats on it was nite and day . I dont slip at all ,i love the boots they have great foot support . My back would get sore fairly quick with my old ones . Now i. Comfortable for hours on end . Definitly would recommend them ."

"According to Simms sizing guide I needed a size 11 wading boot, wrong. Much too big, had to return for the next size lower. They charged me $10 to return and place an entirely new order for the correct size. Not exactly good customer service! Have not tried its replacement yet, so can not comment on the product itself."
"These boots are very well made and extremely durable. I mostly fly fish the Driftless region in Wisconsin. You have a mix of hiking, mud bottoms to creeks, & rock bottoms to creek. I had excellent footing in all conditions and they were extremely comfortable to wear all day (8hrs). My only regret is that I didn’t buy them sooner!"

"I finally got to use my new boots today and have to say they are very comfortable. My only complaint is that all I read was how “grippy” they are. I do not believe they are very grippy. Will definitely have to add studs to them and feel like they should have come with them. I knew they were not going to be as good as felt but thought they would be close. They are not. Still have to say they are very comfortable."
