"Fits my hand , like the sheath . Should be perfect for my first salt water trip !"

"From salt water flats to swinging for steelhead and more, these are worth the money. I’ve messed with some high end pliers but this pliers is noticeably better. Features, form and function are unmatched. Will an occasional leather treatment I think the holster will last a long time too. Great product!"

"I just purchased this item and I cannot say how much I like the system ( plier and sheath ) my other pair was Loone and I slipped and lost them because the attachment is a clip on not a loop. I have only used the product for one trip but so far so good."
— John T. (4/5)
"I fish the surf hard. Waist deep most days for hours. I go hard. For $350 you would expect these pliers to last for more than one season-NOPE! The rowed teeth wear out fast . The cutters lasted longer than I thought. I know what your thinking. I did wash them and oil them after each day. Didn't matter, you tell over the days the bounce back of them slowed . The leather sheath became slimy and began to curl from the saltwater. Rust spots developed around the center ring. I can not recommend these pliers if you are a die hard fisherman. They may look good on the first outing in a sponsored video but not in real life. $350 , first off is insane for aluminum pliers. I got these and used them so you didn't have to , I suggest the titanium ones from a company that makes pliers for a living . I got a pair for half the cost 3 years ago and they are still going strong. SEARCH ELSEWHERE. Will Simms let this review go up?"

"Very happy with quality of pliers and sheath - lanyard it long enough to reach over gunnel and release fish. Recommend."
— Mr. B. (5/5)
"Hilarious. I’ll come sit on your boat and cut things and tighten your knots with a simms shirt on in the rain for 350$. Ahahahah. Go ahead. . buy it."
— Lifelong m. (1/5)
"Undoubtably the best fishing pliers out there. Super ergonomic with a resting “open” position coupled with a finger-hole makes for an inspired design The sheath - whilst functional - could do with a two-tiered male-female brass button for quick deployment on belts and molle webbing. I ended removing the incumbent rivet system and replacing with a customised solution. That said, pliers sitting in an inverted position remain snug and at zero risk of falling out (I keep them at chest height when deep wading local Sydney flats) Super pleased with this purchase and expect a good 20-25 years out of them"

"What kind of company would try to sell pliers on their website for $350. It’s kind of questionable whether Simms is selling quality products or overpriced items."
