"I have been searching for a lightweight wade boot that still offers the support of standard Simms boots THIS IS IT . After about 10 river days I can say the new sole material works great on freestone river bottoms. Also, the awesome new lace system stays tight while lacing the boot up."
"I love these boots and they have replaced all of my old ones. Light, comfortable like a sneaker and excellent ankle support. I studded mine and they are, without question, the grippiest boot I have yet to wear and as an almost 58 wading angler in mountain streams and slimy tailwaters (with vertigo) they are now the best thing I own for fly fishing."
"Used them for a week long trip that was mostly walk/wading and in and out of a drift boat. The grip is great and the lightweight feel of the boots makes them very comfortable. Not much of a break in period though the ankles are a little stiff at first. Can definitely feel the softer inner sole grip the pointed rocks compared to the stiffer outer sole, which helps them feel a bit like hiking boots. Would highly recommend them."

"Extremely lightweight, perfect for hiking and fishing long days and distances. The dual-Vibram system is very grippy, and also allows you to feel what's underneath you at all times. They drain quick and are comfortable all day. Can't say enough good things about these boots."
"I was surprised how comfortable these boots were on the first use. I used them all day without needing to retie my laces, which is also something worth considering- often times boots can soften quite a bit once wet, not the Access Boot. They keep and hold shape from the get-go. Really wide and comfortable toe box that lets you spread your toes out, bringing balance back into the equation. They also had extremely grippy soles that made crossing in moderate current on slick rocks easy, and this is without the instillation of any cleats or studs. Something else to consider is sizing up just a touch if you need add an insert for your arch comfort. I personally have higher arches and was a tiny bit let down that these boots don't have removable inserts. With that said, I've rocked these for 12 hour days and haven't had fatigued feet once. Very nice Simms. "
