"As someone who wet-wade guides in the summer, and sneaks in as many salt trips as possible, this is a hard pant to beat for wading the rivers or flats. With a thin profile taper and lightweight material, it really is a light has it gets without sacrificing durability. There's very little resistance while wading and it drys as fast as any Simms pant I've used! I'm 6ft, 175 and wear a 32R."
"The Men’s Superlight Fishing pants have travelled all over the world with me and I have come to depend on them in a myriad of climates and situations. In super hot climates the UPF 50 protection is very helpful and they dry so incredibly fast even when getting hoses down relentlessly. The little bit of flex and stretch in the material also helps as fast movements and up and down from the tower or the console is an all day affair when fishing. The thigh drop pocket may me my favorite feature as my wallet often times finds a secure home in there or my reading glasses. They stay out of the way and secure which is huge. Lastly the draw cord also helps me by not needing a belt in so many situations."
"The construction of the pant is well thought out. Pros- the fabric is light and airy and dry fast. There is a well placed gusset in the inseam to allow for movement. The pockets are deep in front and features 2 hip pockets as well, one zippered. Cons- what is missing from these pants is elastic in the waist. It is missing a eye glass inner pocket in front. The hip zippered pocket is large enough, but is missing the traditional simms pull string on the zipper. It is almost impossible to open the pocket with sun gloves on. I truly wish a fishing pant would put a zippered pocket in front so my phone doesn't fall out. I still gave them 4 stars because they are very well constructed an they will last many fishing seasons."
"Talk about ease of movement – these are my new favorites. I often wade the flats in shorts because long pants slow me down. Thanks to incredibly lightweight flex fit material, these pants do not. Now I can enjoy the sun protection for my entire legs while fishing. Fast drying when back in the boat and they don’t make me hot in extreme heat conditions sitting around camp or at a lodge."

"I really like these pants. I'm from the north and sometimes have to fish in down south in the summer. I reach for these to keep me comfortable and protected in the hottest environments I deal with.
