"The new flats sneaker is a very nice hot weather tropical wading shoe. Size is exact with a wading sock order one half size larger. Barefoot exact size. I have had the previous models that were more boot like and stingray proof and liked them very much,that model lasted 10 years in the Florida salt. Wold like to see that stingray proof rating again on the sneaker,as well as a sewn in sole like other wading boots from Simms. Overall great looking and comfortable barefoot wading sneaker."

"Excellent wading boot. It took some time to break in the boots (maybe 2 hours or so) then I could feel the sole begin to soften and mold to my foot. After that it was smooth sailing. Waded all day in a mix of deep mud, sandy, and grassy bottoms, then walked around the dock to clean fish and wash the boat, all while still wearing the boots. The comfort is unmatched."

"Have purchased and returned 2 sets of the same boot. Not a single boot was consistent in size/manufacturing. Of the 4 individual boots that were in my possession, all cuffs were cut to different heights. Widths not consistent. Almost like they were randomly molded and cut and sewed by hand with zero consistency. Was able to make one boot fit on my right foot but nothing matched size for the left. The other right boot that didn’t fit was also significantly narrower than the other that fit. Going with Patagonia."

"These boots are trash. If you are walking and wading in white sand the sand fills up in between the fabric layers and you can’t get it out. I have tried many times to contact simms about this with no response. Once enough sand gets in the layers they are unwearable."
