"Best wading boots I have ever owned. Near perfect combination of light weight, traction and durability. I have used them for nearly a year now … regularly fishing the rivers throughout the Texas Hill Country. I can easily traverse a variety of river bottom types … gravel/grit, rolling rock, boulders n even silty. Also great for hiking along river bank to portage around unsafe river spots."

"I purchased these boots for a week long expedition fly fishing N. Patagonia in Argentina. Felt is not allowed in Argentina. They are comfortable, true to fit with a durable upper and sole. I was able to navigate both rough terrain and aquatic environments with relative ease. Very light weight boot. Great ankle support. Not as good a wet traction as felt but to be expected."

"This time I brought my G4's to an outlet with the socks I knew I was going to wear. I sat there for an hour trying on all the different brands and sizes. Simms fit the best; you know, there's a little bit of an art to fitting a neoprene boot foot and getting it to feel right. The other brands felt too narrow even if they were long enough. I'm also super excited about the weight of this boot, it's super light. Simms keeps making great stuff, yeah every company has a hiccup from time to time but it's how they handle that, and Simms is standing behind their products."

"So far so good. Fits perfect, light weight, only had them out a handful of days. Still wearing my old G3s. Saving these for Summer guide season but wanted to break them in. First with no studs, surprised by traction. Then put studs in, really good grip on medium cobble. Bonus they came with an extra set of laces. All in all we'll see how they hold up with daily use this Summer. Definitely easy to hike in compared to other heavier, more restricted models. They also dry quicker and are easier to put on when dry compared models with leather uppers."
