"As a full time fishing guide I spend a lot of time in the sun. With that being said, I’ve never been one to wear sun gloves. I always found reasons not to wear them, even with having cancerous growths burnt off my face multiple times. Finally after a long time client/friend had a heart to heart with me regarding his brother’s battle with skin cancer I broke down and bought these. Since receiving these Simms sun gloves I haven’t ran a day without them. In fact, I bought two pairs so I could switch them out when they get funky. It took a couple of days to get used to them and now I don’t notice."

I've been wearing Simms SolarFlex

"I've been wearing Simms SolarFlex sun gloves for the last decade. Every few years, Simms redesigns these gloves. The latest version is far less useful than previous versions. The index finger is too short, resulting in line cuts when fighting saltwater fish. The glove ends exactly where backing contacts your index finger. Older versions had a much longer index finger. Durability has always been an issue with these gloves, but I could overlook that. The shortened index finger has caused me to look elsewhere for fishing gloves."
