Wet wading shoes

"I just received this new pair of shoes. Overall quality is really good. The one downfall is the plastic hardware on the outside where the elastic band goes through on the inside of the shoe there are hard nubs where they are sewed in to the interior of the shoe that deeply cut into your feet. I’m sure it’s gonna take some time for them to break in, but you figured that those would be flush on the inside after only three hours of use and walking had blisters and cuts on the side of my feet. Would recommend using some sort of a thin sock until broken in properly."
